Meet the Director:
Hi, I’m Ciarra!
My journey in childcare started long before I opened Keak’s Corner. Growing up in my mother’s daycare, I learned firsthand that a nurturing environment is the foundation for a happy child.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Cal State East Bay, which allows me to bring a deep understanding of developmental milestones and emotional growth to our daily activities. With years of experience working in local Recreation Centers and alongside veteran providers, I’ve dedicated my career to creating safe, engaging spaces where kids can truly thrive. At Keak’s Corner, your child isn't just in daycare, they are in a place where big futures start small.
The Space (Virtual Tour):
Our learning space was designed to feel warm, safe, and inviting from the moment children walk in. Each area encourages hands-on exploration, independent play, early learning, and meaningful social interaction in a calm, home-like environment. From story time and sensory play to art, movement, and quiet moments, every corner is created to help children feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn.
A Day at Keak’s Corner:
| 7:30 – 8:30 AM | Breakfast & Gentle Arrival | Soft music and quiet activities to help children transition comfortably into their day. |
| 9:00 AM | Morning Circle | Building language and community through rhythmic songs, interactive storytelling, and early literacy. |
| 10:00 AM | Savanna Exploration | Intentional outdoor play or indoor sensory discovery designed to spark curiosity and develop motor skills. |
| 11:30 AM | Mindful Transitions | Transitioning from our morning adventures with handwashing and clean-up. |
| 12:00 PM | Family-Style Nourishment (Lunch) | Nutritious and balanced meals served together to foster bonds and healthy table habits. |
| 1:00 – 3:00 PM | The Quiet Canopy (Rest & Recharge) | A dedicated, supervised sleep zone where children recharge for afternoon growth. |
| 3:15 PM | Afternoon Fuel (Snack Time) | A healthy, balanced snack to provide energy for our creative afternoon activities. |
| 3:45 PM | Creative Discovery & Arts | Guided crafts and open play to ignite imagination and fine motor expression. |
| 4:30 – 5:30 PM | Pickup Window & Reflections | Winding down with quiet music and discussions about our favorite moments as we prepare for pickup. |

- Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
- California State Licensed: Operating in full compliance with Title 22 home daycare regulations.
- Health & Safety Certified: Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified to ensure your child is in safe hands.
- Background Cleared: Every adult in our home is Guardian/Live Scan background-checked and TB-cleared.
- Nutritious Foundations: We provide balanced, USDA-standard meals and snacks to fuel growing bodies.
